David A. Alvarez, graduated Cliffside Park High School and studied Business Administration at Ramapo College in Mahwah. He became an entrepreneur with extensive experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry. At the young age of 25 Mr. Alvarez co-developed and co-owned the very popular Romanza restaurant in River Vale, New Jersey. He also founded, built, owned and operated Banchetto Feast, Nanuet, New York and Banchetto Feast, Westwood, New Jersey.
Early on Mr. Alvarez realized that owning and operating a restaurant was a business and not a hobby. He considers a restaurant owner no different than a music icon. Both stay in business only by constantly changing to satisfy their audiences and to attract new audiences. As a restaurant owner for over 20 years, Mr. Alvarez understands the complexities of the industry. He is familiar with all of the day-to-day operations of running a restaurant including, but not limited to, concept development and implementation, accounting, food costing, payroll and risk management.
Intrigued with the real estate experience he gained developing his own restaurants and negotiating leases with large commercial real estate companies like Simon Properties, Mr. Alvarez decided to obtain his New Jersey State Real Estate license and focus on helping restaurant owners who are looking to sell or buy restaurants. He recently joined Bielat Santore & Company as a real estate agent, enhancing the company’s salesforce with his work ethic and restaurant experience. His primary territories for business are Bergen and Passaic counties.
